About the Harper Lynn T1D Fundraiser

Harper Lynn was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, a chronic autoimmune condition where the body's immune system destroys insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas, necessitating a life-long insulin therapy, in January of 2024. Living with T1D is being in constant rhythm of counting carbs, injecting insulin, finger pokes, site changes, doctor appointments, monitoring activity levels, and so much more. There is no part of life that T1D does not affect.

The American Diabetes Association Camp Colorado is a lifeline for children living with diabetes to develop the critical skills needed to thrive while managing their diabetes. Attending camp helps children develop social skills, self-respect, and lifelong friendships. Campers meet others just like them while encouraging independence, building self-confidence, and gaining an awareness of a healthy lifestyle through education, nutrition, exercise, blood glucose (blood sugar) management, and emotional wellbeing.

100% of donations from our Harper Lynn T1D Fundraiser Golf Tournament will go towards sponsoring children who cannot afford the financial burden of attending ADA Camp Colorado.

It is our belief, that all children should have access to a life changing camp!
